Public Domain @ The Barbican (24/03/2019)

American composer David Lang wrote the public domain in 2016. Searching for a way to capture shared experiences through music, he typed ‘One thing we all have is our …' into the search engine Google, and used the auto-fill function to see how people around the world completed the sentence. He then used this information to compose the piece. Lead by Simon Halsey and Stage Director Thomas Guthrie, the 500 voices rehearsed the piece with Conductors Esmerelda Conde Ruiz, Emily Dickens, Lucy Griffiths and David Lawrence, and Assistant Conductors Jessica Norton, James Naylor, Kristi Jagodin, Augustina Kapoti and Alexander Creamer.
Thank You For The Music

In July 2018 the members of WFCC recorded their own version of Thank You For The Music to say thank you to their Musical Director, Marie-Claude Perrault, who was leaving the choir after 8 years in charge.
